Who we are

HaifaSoft ("we", "us") is a software engineering consultancy based in Sofia, Bulgaria. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at contact@haifasoft.com.

What we collect and why

When you submit the contact form, we collect:

• your name, email address and, optionally, company name and phone number;
• the project details you share (project type, budget range, timeline and description);
• your preferred contact method;
• technical data needed to protect the form from abuse (such as your IP address, which is used for rate limiting and spam prevention).

We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and, if you choose, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in keeping the form secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies, analytics & your consent

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics.Analytics are only loaded if you click "Accept". If you decline, or don't choose, nothing is loaded and the site works exactly the same.

If you accept, we use privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics (Plausible Analytics, hosted in the EU) that collect aggregated statistics such as page views, referrers, country and device type. No personal profiles are built and you are not tracked across other websites. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) for up to 6 months. You can change or withdraw it at any time using Cookie settings, also linked in the footer of every page.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 12 months. If we work together, correspondence is kept for as long as needed for the engagement and to meet legal and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your data. Form submissions are processed by our web hosting and email providers solely to deliver your message to us. We do not share your information with anyone else unless required by law.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@haifasoft.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg) or your local supervisory authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
